We're already at the point of 'too far' as far as I'm concerned. A troubling amount of gear and hairstyles are designed to fit female characters first and foremost. This means that when it comes to fitting male characters a lot of those same hairstyles and gear pieces end up being very, very adrogynous or feminine.

There are countless options for that sort of style already. Yet it isn't enough - because the vocal, selfish portion of the community gunning for such things kicks, screams and threatens until they get what it is that they want.

...which is more of that sort of thing.

I mean, really. If we're going to have 'sexy' gear for men why does it need to be exactly the same as for female characters? Why can't the equivalent for the 'Bunny Suit' be something that shows off a male character's muscles in a way that is conventionally attractive?

I'd much prefer that than simply getting the female version.

What does any of this have to do with any point you are trying to make about gender-locked clothes?

Honestly, if SE decides to allow something unisex, and you don't like it that's too bad. There is literally no reason beyond Devs having to work, and take time, on new models, and the irl cost, that all outfits shouldn't be unisex.

Because not all female characters are played by females.

If people don't care because they don't come on the forums then why is it affecting them if they unlock gear to all genders?

If they cared that much I'm sure they would come and express their opinion.

What was the purpose of this thread other than to further bloat the number of identical threads about the gender locking and increase awareness of the problem? Are you secretly on our side?

Not only do male rabbits exist, but sexy male dancers who wear bunny ears also exist in the real world (like the female versions the in-game bunny ears reference). It's cool, nobody's forcing you to fantasia, buy them and equip them.

There's also no evidence they'll just force the female versions of gear onto male bodies without refining them to look good, just like they do with all of the female+unisex pieces 'girls' can wear in the game - my female Miqo'te buddy still has her breasts and hips in the right places when she equips her best 'man' costume. Please relax.

purpose of this thread is to give feedback. it may be different for what other want it to be, but it is feedback all same.


on personal note i think all gender unlock gear should put in the mog station. if you want waste the dev time fine you going pay for the gears out your own pocket.
