I think in terms of acceptance by society, that depends on where you are from, how you were raised etc. For myself, I accept that people can wear whatever they hell they want. If i have my Miqo'te female wearing a bikini while she is tanking, why the heck do I care that a guy is running around in a rabbit suit?

That said, I think in terms of development time, the devs need to consider how popular a certain combination will be. For example, if only 2 people want to wear a bunny suit on their male characters - that may not be worth the dev time to create the skins. Yes, they would need to recreate the skins, as the male and female bodies are different in size/shape etc.

I don't think that should be taken into consideration at all if we're going to simply go the route of unlocking everything. Did they take into consideration how many females would actually glamour the Best Man outfit or the Thavnairian bolero? No, they just made them unisex options from the get-go. Even though neither one seems to be all that popular on females as compared to other more feminine equipment, you can bet "the girls" would throw a fit if they were to lose those options. Many of us with male characters just want to see an equal number of options as our female counterparts have, whether we choose to use those options or not.

I am sure they did. It is a massive waste of resources for them to spend time on something that they feel no one would use.

Do not get me wrong, I believe that all the gear should be uni-sex and the same on each sex in terms of equality. I just know that the dev time is limited and this needs to be taken into consideration.

Because not all female characters are played by females; trying to denote between "female characters" and "female players" before someone gets all crazy up in here and starts turning this into a feminism thing (which would actually be pretty hilarious because I'm a girl playing a male character, lol). I guess it makes it more confusing than anything. Meh.

I not claim minority more i claim the majority of players that care less about forums because the thought that forum are full of trolls. this mind set of gamers just look forum as not place give feedback but place where they troll are.

Again, I am all for equality - if people want something, I see no reason why SE shouldn't implement it. I can just see from a dev resource standpoint that they need to pick and choose and cut things accordingly. It is quite possible that certain glamours are made gender locked, as they did not foresee many people of the other gender wanting that option. Therefore the dev time commitment was not worth it. It's also possible that i am very wrong on this and that the dev team is full of bigots

Yeah, anytime I'm discussing glamours and I refer to "females" it's basically shorthand for "people that play female characters" because the second one is clunky as hell. Given the track record, I'm just waiting for someone to go all tumblr on my ass. xD

Eh, I don't think it's a matter of bigotry. It just seems like overall female characters just receive more attention as far as the dress up/glamour portion of the game goes. Maybe there's a reason for it; I'm not really sure, to be honest. It's almost like they create two outfits, one for male and one for female, then look at the male option and go: omg but this would be so cute on girls too. x3

on personal note i think all gender unlock gear should put in the mog station. if you want waste the dev time fine you going pay for the gears out your own pocket.

I think they should make females pay $15 instead of $8 if they want the Cid glamour. Sound fair?
