Any particular reason on this threshold?

if well geared @ lv 60, tanks now have over 20K HP, which would qualify as 50% HP.. so thats reasonable

Seems like a random threshold from my perspective.

My personal healing stance is - I will rouse Eos and dot up / bane, check tanks HP. If they are nearing death or losing HP at a rapid pace - I'll swap out of cleric and heal. If not, I'll Aero and Broil. I don't use any sort of threshold to make that decision though.

I think you meant SCH, not SMN? That said, I have all 3 healers at 60 and DPS with all 3 healers (the least with AST, as I am the least comfortable with that one). WHM has a very strong DPS toolkit.

Sch have fairies to help heal while they dpsing.

Yeah, WHM has a massive AoE stun that SCH doesn't have. That in and of itself opens up huge DPS windows.
