Bard in the party... thoughts?

It's all about the player that makes the class better or worst in the end BUT let just say if MCH is better than Brd in dps, brd still has foe to increase any magical dps by 10% or 20% with battle voice, also keep in mind that BRD is a SUPPORT/DPS class. The class isn't meant do crazy dmg, it's the class that helps other magical class does more dmg.

And so is MCH, MCH might not have something as long as Foe but in a team with Mech + 1 main tank + 1 off tank + 2 melee DPS, the hypercharge, even though it's only 10 seconds is a lot more efficient than Foe Requiem. In the end I'm pretty sure the damage given by Foe requiem and Hypercharge ends up pretty close to one another.

while I agree with the content. I'm not okay with the classification. There is no SUPPORT/DPS class. I mean you can say BRD is more support than dps all day long but in the end dps check is a load for 4 dps to carry. Unless you bring extra BLMs to make up for the 200 dps.

Bard utility is great. But as long as the game classify us as DPS, we have to be on equal footing to do DPS things, or people will walk away from Bard. Especially when MCH bring almost identical utility(arguably better) but higher DPS.

Support dps doesn't mean u re more support than dps, it just meant that you re a dps class with good support skills, because Brd support is too great so it make sense to balance the class out, you can't have a class that has AMAZING DPS and AMAZING UTILITY at a same time, if that apply to brd ull see more than 3 brd in every raid group. Every class has a pro and a con with it, none of them is *perfect* I would say.

I don't think people walk away from brd, it still the fact that BRD still hold the most player based in all servers while MCH is the least that enough said BRD is still a lot fun to play compare to MCH. I seen plenty of Brd that re more than welcome into Alex savage, why? Because it's NOT the class, it's the player that knows how to play the class well.

MCH has better DPS, he got a stun, he got a slow, he got a 10% Vulnerability (Like said previously I'm pretty sure the damage buff in the end is on par with normal group comp) and I would also argue with you about Bard 15% DPS vs MCH turret auto-attack for which class loses the most DPS when he restores mana / TP.
Doesn't matter how well you can play your class, Bard kit is not adapted for Midan Savage, this is why 75% of statics are searching for MCH only, hell I've been a Bard Main ever since I started playing this game a year and a half ago and I'm currently working on MCH because it's going to make everyones job so much easier on A6S and I'm not even interested in MCH, it just feels like it's a need at this point.
People need to stop drooling at foe requiem and look at the rest of the kit.
