Well, that's new. I've never heard about a SCH using Eos just to make AST achieve a WHM's burst healing. If an encounter is so healing intensive, you will use Eos regardless of who you're healing with. You won't use Eos just to help out an Ast. That makes no sense anyway, Ast is fine.

You're veering off topic by misinterpreting my post.

I wouldn't use Eos just to babysit an AST. From a raid DPS perspective using AST+Eos in progression provides safety and nets you decent raid DPS. For example, a divine seal cure III from a WHM takes the party from critical to safe levels of HP in 1 GCD. With an AST, you could achieve a similar result in 1 GCD if you paired AST heals with Eos CDs. Eos gives AST Divine Seal outside of Synastry essentially, as well providing more safety in the AOE heal department. It's about being efficient and saving GCDs in healing that could go towards DPS instead without compromising safety.

DISCLAIMER: I am not saying AST sucks and can't mainheal (I run content on it regularly). I'm specifically asking if AST+Eos is more raid DPS vs WHM+Selene given that both combinations are safe in progression and bring utility to the party.

To answer your question then, Eos would help me DPS more in some cases, but I don't think it would impact the way I support the party DPS with my cards. But I think it's safe to assume that Selenes support of party DPS outweighs that.

I know that pre-buff Astro's 15s balance/arrows were decidedly worse for DPS than Selene, but if there's new math out there discussing whether or not Astro cards bring more DPS than Selene now with 30s balance/arrow I haven't seen it so far so I can't say for sure.
