I have a question about how hitting the tp floor sooner due to skillspeed is bad for monks?

The way I see it, as long as you're going through your rotation as usual then you're doing the same amount of damage in a shorter time. How quickly you empty out shouldn't make a difference, right?

If you're emptying your TP you're going to be doing higher DPS for the duration that you have TP but once you hit the wall you're going to be doing 0 until you get TP making SkS only worth it for short fights were you don't risk draining all you TP. If you hit this wall SkS stat weights is going to be something like 0.04 as it still affects dots. In this case just picking up more det will be better.

So now that we know the accuracy cap for A8/M4 Savage (723 front, 713 flank) I just found 2 BiS builds. I don't know which one to go with though.

723 acc, 983 crit, 587 det, 706 ss, Steamed Staff

I personally prefer the first build because it's more balanced with the stats and has less skill speed...but on the other hand, more crit is always nice right?

No, that's not it. The Japanese got it from some guy on reddit who was taking a guess. It was published on reddit before a7s was even cleared.

Am I the only one who isn't okay with their choice of buffs for this patch? On my server, Monks are STILL being the less preferred melee DPS because of their lack of utility. I even saw a PF up today that only wanted a DRG/NIN/BRD or MCH/SMN or BLM. I don't think simply increasing their DPS was the way to go.

Maybe these people want to be #1 DPS and know that having a Monk on the team will prevent that from happening? Monk is beast.
