I would probably get hate for this but in dungeons I usually just use tri disaster, contagion and then bane, that new aoe cd and fester then go into trance and spam ruin III then deathflare and add a shadow flare.

That's perfectly fine, imo, so long as you're filling your GCDs with something (Blizzard II is a good choice if the group is 4+ enemies). 3D isn't worth saving for Dreadwyrm in trash pulls because you just want to use one stack of aetherflow in one pullanyways. You also can start dealing great damage in no time thanks to TD's instant application of everything.

So 3 things, 1 what is 3D, 2 what is TD( trance?) 3 um i dont use blizzard 2........ I usually have everything almost dead so either i just spam ruin or I reply my dots

Yes, both meant Tri-Disaster, sorry for not using the same abbreviation twice. Also, for your other question, Dreadwyrm Trance isn't on the global cooldown, so I'm assuming you're accidentally clipping the animation and not buffering the inputs correctly.

If you DO start DWT and put the ability in cooldown but don't get the buff.... that might be a very bad bug, but it's never happened to me.
