Crafters have no right to get their own Chocobos

I play all four classes, DoH, DoL, DoW and DoM... I can see it from both sides and can understand everyone's points of view... but...

If I am correct when you go to a city to start the Grand Company story line it sends you up to a hamlet, and after that there is a small battle.

If you don't have a DoM or DoW how can you get past this?

Then after all of that is done another part of the Grand company story line is making your way to the dungeon with 3 other DoM/DoW members and doing the 25 dungeon run to complete the other part of the story...

Once again...If you don't have a Dom or DoW how can you get past this?

Only then can you become a recruit for the Grand Company.

So if people can't even become a recruit for the Grand Company without having a DoM, DoW class to complete the first two missions of the recruitment phase... how you going to get your own personal Chocobo anyway?

Unless people asking Yoshi-P to change the whole story line that has been in place since last patch, you can't become a recruit to get the personal Chocobo without a R25 DoW or DoM in the first place.

I figured it was pretty obvious when they stated you would get the Personal Chocobos through Grand Company's, people would have realized then... "Well if I don't have a R25 in a fighting or magic class I can't become a recruit anyway".

It might not be totally fair, but then again life isn't fair. I mean I love Lancer and Archer, is it fair that I can't use a Bow and Lance on every job? What if I want to be a CON that uses a bow and arrow!!! :P

But my point is... this has been in place for a while now and obvious that this would happen. People are just complaining about it now? Why didn't you start complaining about it and realize it when you couldn't become a recruit for Grand Company without having a battle class, Chocobo or not... people still couldn't join.

People only care now because they can't get a Chocobo without being in GC? You didn't think it was unfair you couldn't join GC beforehand just to BE in it and get stuff that was coming out for it without a R25 Dow or DoM?

If you're going fight for something fight for the overall...everyone should have been complaining about this when GC was released and required a R25 fighting/mage class. So it was fair back then when it came to getting in, and all the sudden it’s not fair now just because of chocobos?

I can sympathize… but overall this argument seems rather silly coming this far after implementation of GC.

especially considering the requirements are rather low and wouldn't take more then a couple days to achieve.

All of the fights to get into the GC allow for parties. DoL/H could easily just get a party. The dungeons are not required for entry.
