4) Jumping doesn't lag the game in that case or in any other. My god man, what the hell are you on about? I'd think it's the battle with 30+ players and spell effects AND NOT THE JUMP.

Holy damn, the ineptitude of these arguments is pitiful.

S/he is referring to the fact the game's interface is all serverside (Malakhim mentioned, which SE confirmed even though it was already obvious xD) -- whereas most other MMOs are client side; So it would be a latency problem rather than lagging in certain instances -- e.g failure to execute or very slow execution which already happens in battles at times.

If he were referring to FFXIV being serverside he wouldn't have made examples of MMOs with clientside interfaces as to why it shouldn't be added. It looks more like he has no clue what he is talking about and just really doesn't want jump added.

While I do agree that jump could potentially become annoying, I feel that the Final Fantasy community is more mature than other MMO communities and I don't think it would be as much of an issue as players think it would be. I'll be happy with whatever decision they make. I just wish people would be more open minded and more considerate of the opinions that other people have.
