Ok think about this, almost evry thing in games ARE unrealistic, being able to cast magic, walking on end and not get tired, fighting a mob thats 20 times bigger then you are and fighting it solo? going to the past in FFXI, theres more that could be named, cuz its all a fantasy

Maybe I'll go play TERA, AoC, Blade and Soul, Vindictus, Star Wars, Rift, LOTR, etc etc., since every MMO freaking includes jump except your retarded FFXI.

This just goes to show how backward the game is. Any self-respecting fantasy game-world designer would implement a jump feature and also a world that accommodated it, for both immersion and practicality, and also for the sake of more involving content. People flock to this thread so SE can hurry up and implement it and get it out of the way. I'm sick of this game playing catch-up.

Wouldn't you want them to just get it out of the way so they can finally work on making content? It's a pretty integral feature.

If they implement a jump and you want to jump, then jump. If you do not want to jump then don't friggin jump, it's that easy.

Yes. Don't take out possibilities for environment interaction just because
you fear that every change for the better will instantly turn FFXIV into WoW.
