As a WAR main I was almost offended...but then I laughed my ass off.
To add to it...
Berserk = Pillow Fight
Bloodbath = Flowerbath
LMAO
I personally play the 3 tanks, to me the only problem I see on PLD was TP an enmity.
Besides that it feels good to me, very good physically reduction like it supose to.
Dark Knights and Paladins should ideally be in the same place, raid-wise. The only reason for a player to choose one over the other should be preference, not need. There should be no reason beyond looking cool.

Rule #2 of Blandness 101 in an mmo, make every tank the same. Paladin and dark knight should each have their own strength and weaknesses.

And then there will be me, buying my co-tank a fantasia and forcing him to re-roll as a lala.....
I still expect PLD to finish 3rd while in tank stance, just not so horrifically far behind.

That is a horrible design philosophy that leads to players getting benched as we've observed with Paladins and Alex Savage. Tanks should play differently to achieve the same results. Not have deficiencies deliberately installed to hold back good players in the name of whatever.

Only if the supporting raids are designed poorly. Horrible design philosophy is also in the eye of the beholder. Removing gear choices and stat weight calculation by trying to streamline the secondary stats in this game is a horrible design in a rpg based mmo. It is turning the game into Destiny at this point. Gear complexity and over the top stats is a core staple of MMO design and removing the more interesting aspects of the game for balance reasons is going to hurt the game in the long term.That is a horrible design philosophy that leads to players getting benched as we've observed with Paladins and Alex Savage. A core staple of bad, unfun MMO design, maybe.
My life while tanking is an existential hell from which there is no escape.

I'd rather have bland than needlessly convoluted, tbh. I'm here to play a game, not for a degree in mathematics. Making things more complicated just for the sake of making them more complicated isn't good game design. Deliberate class imbalance isn't good game design either, and I'm happy that SE is addressing the current state of tanks in order to correct the current imbalance. Players should ultimately be able to achieve the basic goals of the game (i.e. clearing content) with whatever class appeals to them.
