This sounds awful and like it would lock poor people out of raiding or even applying for raid groups if they can't afford to meld that amount of tier Vs.

You can get tier 5s from Diadem, and you'll only need 5 total.

Also I believe they're adding new ways to obtain tier 4s/5s in 3.2.

Ah, I see, they're saying there could be 3 hypothetical slots before overmelding. In that case it would take 15, which still isn't that bad (they'll also probably make it more affordable to get tier 5s from Diadem). If there aren't any changes to the costs for Diadem then it would probably be a bit more time consuming but at least all the melds would be 100% haha. I think there will just be 1 slot, anyway.
