Why are low standards for dps acceptable?

a "bad" DRG for me is a i190+ DRG pulling less than 800 dps. Because I can do more without buffs and with the 2.0 rotation which does less dps than the 3.0 rotation.

This ^ If 1,000 dps on Thordan Ex is considered good near the end then being able to do over 800 dps without buffs with only the 2.0 rotation seems pretty solid evidence the level 60 rotation is optional in level 60 dungeons.

I still cannot grasp how you can possibly think that spamming Chaos Thrust without your job crystal on top of that, in a joke dungeon where going AFK is common, is not doing bad. Honestly, if you were doing any worse, you'd be auto-attacking.

near the end, not after heavenly heel. At ilv 190 as a DRG you should be doing roughly between 1150-1200 DPS with a Ravana weapon. 800 DPS is getting carried. Please stop while you're ahead, because you're grossly misinformed if you're not intentionally playing dumb, and at this point, I hope it's the latter. If you can't understand that you're flat-out wrong when people go as far as to give you numbers for you to compare, I'm not sure what more can be said.

You do realize that striking dummy numbers like the one provided for the that ice mage rotation are different and should not be compared to instance parses, just like you shouldn't compared one instance parse to a different one...

My point is that I expect in df more that a half-assed weak dps rotation. If you can't even provide that then you go in my "to BL list" and that's it. (Or you actually need to learn, but that would be easy to spot)

800 is still not so good at i190. It's just the bare minimum I consider expectable from someone who is trying
