Why are low standards for dps acceptable?

Honestly, your argument was about as relevant as hers. The question was not whether the BLM was good or could keep Enochian up, but rather that they did not use it all together. I think we can all agree that some people may find keeping enochian up a challenge and that really isn't the question in this thread.

I don't agree, I think my post was relevant. For a large proportion of this thread the argument has been whether the OP was wrong to basically accuse the person of being a bot and cause the argument. My point is that he jumped on the BLM too quickly as she only had the first boss to use enochian and that boss can be a pain to new BLM's. By all accounts her AoE damage was unremarkable at worst. I'm not familiar with all the bots out there but do you know of any that know when to AoE, know when to single target and know how to dodge AoE in movement heavy fights? I don't. Whether or not the OP had reason to believe the BLM was a bot is very relevant to this thread and he obviously got that call wrong.

Did I even quote you? I was responding to the argument as a whole. You aren't the only person to mention being able to clear without playing the job properly.

I know very little about bots, and am sure that I've seen bots that I thought were actual players. We can't really make to much of an assumption on their aoe rotation, but Enochian giving a 5% buff to AoE is also significant. However, a perfectly acceptable response to the original question would be:
"I just got 60 and haven't really figured out how to use Enochian and Fire IV yet with all the aoes with that boss." or whatever.

Thank you! This was my whole point. Also, I will agree completely with Artemiz in that Enochian takes time to learn. I think all of us when we first hit 60 on BLM had it falling off left and right. One little screw up and it's gone.
