It seem you have not finished reading the thread.
The OP was not passive aggressive, he did the right thing in asking.
The BLM and the Tank, sure they are 2 adults that cannot tolerate any world and most for them any kind of teaching will be agressive from them, being nicely or not. Very inmature and oversensitive.
xD too rich really
P.S- Fixed your spelling and grammar as best I could ;D

I honestly didn't notice if the BLM was using Enochian or even if the BRD was using WM. I was busy healing and DPSing myself. A boss taking a long time doesn't fall on one DPS.All this arguing over Fractal, an ilvl 145 dungeon. I think it's worth noting that this happened at the first boss, there has been no complaint about the AoE damage this BLM was doing (from the OP or the healer) which is what really slows dungeons down, the speed at which you kill the trash. It's not right that they didn't use it but if that's the only problem and it's the best they've got then just shut up and get on with it, it's Fractal ffs.
BTW leaving this here since people are misinformed about who said what. BLM was actually nice about the whole thing.

You know what? Aethertrails are hard to manage, so I'm not going to bother with Dreadwyrm Trance. It's no big deal, right? We'll still clear with nothing but dots and ruin.
Try reading the whole post not just the bit you wanted to have a hissy fit about.
You know, stuff like this
Or you can just carry on with your little strawman over there, if you enjoy that sort of thing.
Well, would you look at that. BLM was nice the whole time, and it was the tank budding in. Still hilarious that TC who was crying because a boss took 30 seconds longer than normal now has to queue up again for the whole dungeon.
Funny enough, BLM was being nice and civil, and TC still insulted her. Amazing.
Thanks for updating that, the BLM did seem nice and it appears the Tank was the one with the bad attitude.
I'm still struggling with why it's OK for a tank to call Mattlock an idiot, but I can't say "Hey, parser says you're doing 500 DPS, you should be able to pull closer to 1.2k with your gear here. Would you like any tips?"
Honestly, your argument was about as relevant as hers. The question was not whether the BLM was good or could keep Enochian up, but rather that they did not use it all together. I think we can all agree that some people may find keeping enochian up a challenge and that really isn't the question in this thread.

You know your first comments make you come off as abrasive ("Hello, Are you a bot, Why arent you using enochian?"). This immediately makes the person your talking to defensive and less likely to want your input. Many times you can make a suggestion and help someone by doing it in a polite manner.
Why not try saying "Hey, Can I make a suggestion?" then if the player agrees, explain your feedback. If they refuse your suggestion, then leave it be, it's not worth the time/effort to press your input on them.
Personally, I think the way players speak to one another is more the issue here.
Actually that just gives more context to the topic title on how people try to defend bad habits or discourage advice :x. On phone though so I can't make long winded posts. It gives a different circumstance but the premise is still the same I'd say.
I am not defending the bad habit. I'm am saying that if you want a person to change their behavior, there are better ways to initiate the conversation to resolve it. Calling someone out just makes them more defiant.
Oh I agree, the tank shouldn't have went there. Tank and blm were friends, but still didn't make it okay. We all take others tones differently. Tank just wasn't having it.Thanks for updating that, the BLM did seem nice and it appears the Tank was the one with the bad attitude.
