No offense, but you are coming across like a troll here. PS3 plays all ARR content well enough for players to have completed the Final Coil on PS3. I don't remember there being any unfinished or glitchy elements from when I played on PS3, and so I can only conclude that you are trolling since reality conflicts with your assertions.
PS3 support will more than likely end with Heavensward, that is, all content up to the 4,0 Expansion will be available on PS3, unless SE elects to go back and re-work some of those zones. I think that is highly unlikely, and so for the foreseeable future PS3 players will be able to play FFXIV 2.0-3.x, regardless of the ravings of anti-PS3 rants.
As someone said earlier of the anti-PS3 nonsense, you are adopting a very western centric view. There are in fact plenty of games on Vita for other regions, Japan/Asia in particular. Which works out very well for gamers who want their JRPG and other genre typical of Japanese gaming.
The cost of a 32GB memory card is a one off investment that pays dividends. When people routinely throw away $600 on the latest iPhone that can't even take a memory card of any kind, it's pretty silly to complain about the cost of Vita.
However, The "kick a man when he's down" mentality of western gamers and journalists had every Sony product regardless of division being trashed across the board in the US and US dominated regions thanks to past issues in an unrelated business division.
If you soberly analyze Vita, it's a very good mobile gaming platform, and quite well priced compared to $600 smartphones. I guess that's why people only play free to play games on phones, but buy real games on Vita. Vita is a good product, that was rather unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival, by a gleefully vindictive gaming media and anti-Sony community in the West. That is it's biggest problem.
