You don't have super powers so I know you can't read minds of someone from the past. You also apparently disregard the evidence the healer of the group posted shortly after OP that tells you the BLM started using the tool after he was kicked. This tells me she took the advice but wasn't fond of his approach. You are someone who clumps all the bad players into one arch type, just because they responded negatively to not so nice criticism.

I critique people all the time, these negative push back responses are generally caused by negative accusations. Obviously some exceptions.

Also I've met someone who didn't think blood for blood was worth getting. After explaining I convinced them.

Then don't pretend this is some sort of raid situation. The OP was in the midst of a tirade that bothered other members of the party and would have hung in the air until the rest of the run. And the player had someone in their FC, so if it did come to a vote, it wasn't going to end in OP's favor anyway.

So yeah, sometimes you do in fact need to consider whether complaining about the extra minutes is worth getting kicked or rolling the dice on a rep. especially if you are going to get heated and complain about playstyles and how people have low standards and blah blah blah. That is not time management, that is tempting fate.

The OP had to ask 'is this a bot' after at least the first boss of the dungeon, so you can assume no two-way communication was going on since the start. Is it now rude to wonder if the people you play with are human after that length of time with no communication too? I question it, and so should you every time you go through a 20min+ dungeon run where people don't even exchange pleasantries.

My point stands: the over sensitivity to the point of coddling the worst type of player behavior because someone asked them a question that indirectly tilted their ego should stop. The community is worse for it.

The log-in screen has a link to the patch notes when the preliminary notes are released, as well as the final set. The log-in screen. PS4, PS3, PC, Potato. Its there, flashing in your face with a pretty picture to go along with it.

Patch notes for any update tend to be looooong, and filled with references to things I may not be familiar with (since I have not reach that particular part of the game yet.) Every time I have started reading one of them my eyes start to glaze over and I lose interest before I get halfway through. And I am the kind of person who generally does read instructions and guides before playing.

I would bet 90%+ of players will, at best, take a quick glance at the patch notes and then skip the rest. If they bother to even look at them at all.

Completely agree. By the way the lv 1-49 or 1 to 59 doesn't help in nothing from the class rotation. So people take lv 50 without knowing what a rotation is. And when they are new to 60, no one tells them the new rotation.
Even on youtube it's hard to found a good video that show how to play your class. People saying on dungeon ''Do you know how to play your class ?'' . Of course that they don't because no one never teach them on a polite way.

I said it once already in this thread and I'll repeat it.

If you chose to use DF then you should expect at least some of the time to run into poor players. That is just a reality of grouping with completely random people. Nothing you say or do will change that.

If you run into these players you have 3 choices. First is to Vote Dismiss and hope it goes your way. Second is to Leave group. Third is to simply soldier on and finish the dungeon. That is it. There is no way you can or ever will be able to force players to get better at playing or force poor players to not use DF. You can complain about it till the cows come home and it still won't change a thing.

Simply put, recognise your 3 choices and make your peace with whatever you decide. All you do by getting worked up over it is at best stress yourself out and at worse end up getting accused of harassment. By all means try and give other players advice if you think they can do better but don't expect people to always listen or take that advice.

But when we wanna teach on a polite way, we still get negativity like 80% of the time...
