Its like an umbrella, if you don't take it you know its going to rain.I hate reclaim so much. The one time I needed reclaim was three months ago... since then I haven't needed to reclaim once. Though I have had ~3 shoddy end synths, they were all glamor items. The rarity I use reclaim is so vast I have an extremely difficult time justifying it being on my bar.
The one time I didn't take Reclaim for a final product I had like 30% Hasty Touch success, that taught me to always take it.

Its tricky though because lets say instead you get to take Innovation which can easily net an extra 10% quality. So if you get 10% extra quality 9 times over the coarse of when you would have used a single reclaim... then you'll better off taking innovation. With this said things are usually a binary 100 or not for me at this point. So the occurrences where Innovate would matter are less than they used to be. But still the occurrences where innovate could be used and would help are VASTLY more common than reclaim attempts for me. Personally I think reclaim should just be a base skill... but I want everything so what can I really say lol.

Sorry, I dont wanna open a new thread for this... This is my newest discovery:
Trick of Trade: ToT (crying face... because the abbrev spells "tot")
Satisfaction: \o/ (WOOT face... as you can see below)
Both are CP recovery skills, but one is a sad face and one is a happy face! How ironic! XD
Yes, I know this is completely off topic and super rihtahted, but Katy will forgive me for this, LOL!

Id like to thank the OP...I was able to make the initial break in to 2* HQ tools due to the 398 CP rotation. Yeah it can be a little hairy with the hasty touches but it happens more than not.
I like the detail on your post Katlyna, but I'm surprised at the lack of Piece by Piece.
I posted these notes on another thread - (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing). They're not as pretty as your post and may be really weird and eccentric but demonstrates that craftsmanship does not need to go higher than 725/774. I can also give a nice screenshot:

Your rotation has one unbuffed HT
Btw, high craftsmanship still has huge benefit pass 774
For rath's rotation, max CP meld + HQ Seafood Stew is ideal
With 863 craftsmanship, one can afford 4 failed FS/ToT (FS progression 1070 )
no ToT will let you replace one HT with BT/PT
one ToT will let you replace three HT with BT/PT
up to 3 ToT can be taken during the FS phase (over cap by 2cp but doesn’t matter), this will let you replace five HT with BT/PT
With 867 craftsmanship, one can even finish the craft earlier with 2 more CS2 when FS phase reached 1190 progression (can afford one failed FS/ToT), this will net you one more 50%HT
(don’t give up ToT to push for 1190 tho)

I can see you only looked at the screenshot I posted then, unfortunate. The reason I posted was to include some detailed notes, you glanced over those and wasted your own time. The picture is simply a demonstration of what it looks like. There are some detailed explanations for *why* certain decisions are made - some of which you mentioned, but there's a lot more going on.

Yeah and once again if you didn't glance over what I actually contributed you would see why I have that view. Craftsmanship is overrated past 774 for this rotation. People shouldn't even push for that threshold - 727 is enough.
