Mounts (optional)
Housing (optional)
Raid food. (not sure how much gil is needed for that as I don't raid)
Repair costs are close to nonexistent.

The only time I ever needed gil in larger quantities was when I wanted to craft something or for leveling them crafters if I was too lazy to farm stuff myself.
