They call that midcore, and it's generally accepted that the midcore players have been shafted ever since alexander savage hit. Moreso now.As I said previously, i'm glad they put in some content that is easier for alot of players, but its the above mentality that perplexes me. I don't like the idea that categories for players are so black and white. I'm really neither a raider nor a casual player. I enjoy the occasional raid and work toward them, but I don't ever do progression.
It's the players like me that suffer the most with this black and white vision of players. It's hard for me to prepare to raid in the small hours that I have to play and work on the relic. When the game is supposed to be opposed to the specializations that alot of MMO's use by being able to level all classes and jobs it seems like such a paradox that when it comes to gearing that decision has to be made anyway.
