I think relic also serves as good filler in between patches as well and I wish there were more things like this for ppl that can spend more then 4 hours a week playing so they something to do after capping weekly tomes.
As I said previously, i'm glad they put in some content that is easier for alot of players, but its the above mentality that perplexes me. I don't like the idea that categories for players are so black and white. I'm really neither a raider nor a casual player. I enjoy the occasional raid and work toward them, but I don't ever do progression.

It's the players like me that suffer the most with this black and white vision of players. It's hard for me to prepare to raid in the small hours that I have to play and work on the relic. When the game is supposed to be opposed to the specializations that alot of MMO's use by being able to level all classes and jobs it seems like such a paradox that when it comes to gearing that decision has to be made anyway.
