So even if you want 2.0 to be considered a new game, it would be one that greatly diminishes your accomplishment of leveling up and as such, according to you, there should have been a backlash from most people playing at the time.

It's still lazy, copy pasted content meant to keep a playerbase complacent while they figure out the real problems. There was backlash with every single nerf in the pre heavensward relic. It's impossible to make everyone happy, but this piece of content is particularly lazy and requires an amount of time that is counter-intuitive to its selling points.

Heh, no. I'm gonna chip away at it slowly and steadily. I just don't mind if other people will have an easier time getting it after I got it, because, guess what...I'll still have it!
