You seem to be misunderstanding the concept of a queue. If you're in line at the post office, you can't "pause" to go the the bank and pick up your same place in the line with the same people when you return.
or you could just hit withdraw and queue again? if you need to leave your pc to go where ever even if its to the toilet you are no longer an active willing participant and if you leave it well that is the chance you took.
If your a ps user, use your vita remote play feature and bring vita with you to the bathroom. If you're a pc user, there are lots of smartphone screen mirroring apps out there.
But if I go to get a haircut, and there's a 25 minute wait when I walk in, I can put in my name and go next door and eat without losing my place in line.
An indefinite pause would be too easy to abuse, but a 5-10 minute hold wouldn't be unreasonable.
In the case of a haircut you're waiting on the barber who presumably knows how long he will take. With a duty queue you're waiting on other players. 7 people shouldn't have to wait for one.
And they wouldn't have to. It would just be a matter of changing your status so you don't get matched with a party/instance.
I believe a time out still counts as a withdraw. So the OP's body probably took over moments before the pop up appeared. But yes, 3 times and you're out.
Yes you can. I do it all the time.
