Maybe pay attention? Since the penalty system has been added I take like a whole .4 seconds to look at the window to see the progress before stepping away.

I guess when you got to go, you got to go. On the other hand you do as some have indicated, 3 strikes before you get a 30 minute penalty. I've yet to get one and queue as a dps a lot of the time. If it were to happen I'd simply use it as a time to go gather or craft.
Diadem DF is the eighth hell. You couldn't pay me to do it.
I strongly suggest you use Party Finder to enter Diadem. Keep an eye on it - there's groups popping up all day.

Yeah, no. If you miss three queues over a 24 hour period. That's on you.

It's the forums, what do you expect??? You are gonna see the exact same stuff every single day. Diadem, lack of content, expect roulette boredom, str/vit tank, etc. I haven't really seen a new subject that we haven't talked about in quite sometime

Sooo much misunderstandings. People advocating for a que hold aren't asking people to wait, they don't care if they are replaced l. But since they already waited 10minutes they want to keep the same priority. So the second a high priority group needs their job they are plugged in over someone who just started queuing.
The problem with this is it would bring back the withdraw spam as people try to que dailies with their friends. Except instead of a full on withdraw, it will be a "brb break" wait a bit come back to see if they were grouped with their buds.
If you don't think it'll be abused this way you're wrong it already has in 2.0 which is why the penalty is there in the first place. OP needs to try and restroom break before queuing even if he or she doesn't feel like it. 3 withdraws is generous.
While missing queues is obviously annoying, if you're missing more than 1-2 each day, perhaps you should try queuing only when you know you'll have roughly ~30 minutes to be hanging out around your computer/console.
If you are going to be AFK, turn off all sounds except for (I think?) system sounds, and blast that. That way you'll be more likely to hear the sound of the queue popping. Or find things to do in-game while you wait.
