Diadem DF is by far the most painfull thing in the game right now .. im considering making an macro to auto-accept it or something.

Why? Well, when you have to wait for 30m - 3h, you are NOT gonna check every couple seconds, and due to the DF being pure CRAP jumping from 1 person, to 5 people back to 1, suddenly 8 and starting, its so random that you have no idea if it will start in 1 minute or 3 hours.

Every single day im getting the penalization because I dont click commence in time, its tiresome and seriously, why are we even waiting for a full party of different roles? If i wanted a hunting party id use pf, everyone leaves or does gathering after objectives in DF anyways!

So tell me, why am I getting penalized for being penalized, isnt that just a tiny bit extremely mean?

And SE if you're seeing this ... let us join as solo, then make parties inside diadem, just make max people per instance instead. (Why hasnt this been done yet? ..)

Not sure if it works the same way as DF, but aren't you only penalized after the 3rd time of missing the queue pop?

Unfortunately this is life and there's nothing that can be done about it, its not SEs fault, and in all honesty I'm happy the penalty is there (the horrors of 2.1 before the penalty).

As for the diadem, with the way that NMs work, having an incomplete party is a very bad thing, and at the moment I think thats what they are focusing on. Though I think a gathering DF option that works like PVP (scales down the match if there arent enough people) would be a nice addition, though im wondering how allocating an entire large instance to for example, 3 people for 90mins would affect the servers.

I know this is a rant, but you have to look at the bigger picture. The only way to shorten the queue is to have more people running it.

The penalty was placed because of people abusing it by either trolling or trying to get into queue with other people outside their parties resulting a lot more "a member has withdrawn bla bla bla" messages. Although there are some legitimate reasons why someone would be unable to click accept on time, the bad outweighed the good this time. I know it sucks having to wait hours, but if you missed it, you missed it. You're aware that the consequence is there, so do everything you can to not miss the queue pop. If you're using speakers, put the volume up, if you're using headphones, you can set the audio to continue playing even if you're alt tabbed. If you have to step away for a while without being able to check up on it every now and then, you either withdraw on your own or stay in queue and risk getting penalized. There's nothing else you can do.

As for your suggestion, although the concept is neat, it puts you at risk of let's say you being someone wanting to kill nms in a group, but no one is interested in adding you, or for some really odd reason you end up in an instance where it's only you and 2 other people. What then? You won't be able to get much done. I may be misinterpreting your last comment of making it max people per instance instead in the sense that if you would only be able to get a queue pop if the max amount would be available to enter, it would be worse than the current situation. If not, there already is a max of 9 parties per instance that can enter at any moment.

Since I don't have much experience with other online games, is there any example, or could you explain how it would work? I don't see how "pausing" your queue would be possible other than just withdrawing before getting a penalty.
