That said, I'm a long way from doing these since I'm focusing on crafting and therefore Ixal are demanding all my allowances.
you can't turn in a quest on another job
    try again

You could in the 2.0 beast quests. Hell, the Ixal quests required you to change jobs in order to complete them.

I think it was meant that you used to be able to level alts that way. With the quest sync you can no longer do that but have to do the quest on the job you want the experience for.

Thank you. This is what I meant, I just didn't convey it clearly.

Does it really matter? The amount of xp you could get from 2.0 beast quests was trifling, and a horrible way to level up. 3.0 quests don't seem to be much better, but it's not the end of the world. We're arguing about quests that take longer, yet give less xp than a single fate.

My friend gave up on the Sylphlands quests in ARR because of all the "Don't get seen!" quests, then ran through them in 3.0 when the higher level cap effectively nerfed those quests to the ground.

That is NEVER going to be an option with level-synced quests. If there is a quest that for some reason you just can't do ... it will NEVER get easier for you.

errr if I read correctly when taking them, they give XP, just like the Leves, from the class you took them with. So you cannot give it to your other jobs, else everyone would be doing them with lvl 60 then switch..

    So yeah, Sync is good.

EDIT: just read the rest of the threads, and yeah if you could in 2.0, seems they fixed it in 3.0 So as soon as you have any lvl 50 (never tried below as all mine are 50) well, you can do the Vanu beast tribes, I find that cool! ^^

Ninja 60, here I come! *smoke bomb*

I'll admit I questioned Quest Sync at first, but now I'm glad they did. I hope they apply this to more quests in the future.

There is literally nothing negative about quest sync. It gives you another way to level alts and that is the only reason for its existence.

Did you even think before making this topic...?

It's not going to raise above 60, plus isn't that thinking a bit too far ahead?
