Quest Sync, really?

Just curious whether or not there is actually going to be any content you can do that isn't sync'd. The quest sync was a stupid change. Also, please make it so you can dismount from the daily quest mounts by clicking the icon. You know, like you can on every other mount in the game.

I like the quest sync since it gives me a chance to get my other jobs 50-60 through beastman quests instead of doing it at a capped job at 60.

I actually like the quest sync feature. It allows you to combine leveling an alt class with doing your dailies. That's a total win/win for me.

personally I like the idea of quest sync, I'm not seeing a good argument against it here.....

None of the arguments for it are all that convincing either. You complete a beast quest on a high level job, turn it in on a job you want exp for. How is that not leveling up your alts?

That said, I'm a long way from doing these since I'm focusing on crafting and therefore Ixal are demanding all my allowances.

Its kind of the same but now we can start off at an earlier level and keep doing it at that lvl not having to worry about a minimal quest level to turn it in. I think the first beastquests in ARR were 43 then 45 then 47 then 50 or something. Now we can do them all at a lower job if we want. Im personally lvling my 53 brd through the new quests.

Lol, well guess the thread is going again ....

I didn’t realize quest sync existed in any content before level 70 shadowbringers content. If someone is using it to level their 53 bard... I need to get on that for some of my alt jobs.

I know of the beast tribe quests - I often use them when leveling alts that are around that range. (For instance, Heavensward tribes in Dravanian Forelands and Sea of Clouds - minimum level is 50, but they are synced to your level - if you are level 57, the quest mobs are 57. Same with Stormblood.)

Also of note, you must turn the quests in on the job that originally took the quest - and that job must also complete the objectives. I think in years past you weren't restricted to the same job throughout (not sure tho).
