There was a patch where we had no symc on those dungeons.. Haukke hm became a disaster because dots kept making the final boss enrage, or even the tank hitting it. Syncs aren't that bad... People will whine about anything. :/

It is worth mentioning that the xp from the Vanu Vanu quests also sync with your level, and the amount you get is also boosted when you reach certain ranks. When you get to rank 3, all future Vanu Vanu quests give 50% more xp.

Dailies are there to assist in the leveling of any and all jobs. They also exist to provide experience using said jobs. That experience is nullified if someone can use a higher level job to complete said quest and just turn it in on a lower level job to mooch the exp. One of the biggest problems of the NA community is the lack of people who know how to play their jobs.
I'm all for systems that force people into actually doing content on different jobs.
No, you're right. Everyone else is just blind to the problem. Yeah, its nice not being locked out of PICKING UP quests. But it is pointless, and not worth the time. My first character to level, always skips side quests, so i can use them to level alt classes. As soon as i started leveling the alt, I did some of the side quests on The First. It was great, for the first 3 levels. Now its pointless again. All the quests throughout the entire First, are all stuck at 70. The Active Help literally says "Automatically changes to the /Current/ level of your /Current/ class. However, changing class may lead to being unable to complete Objectives." Thats fine. eXcept the automatic level changing isn't kicking in. I abandoned all quests, to pick them back up, still 70. So i went back to town and just used Duties to level. 3rd alt, same issue. 76 and all the quests are still 70. Its great the gear, changes to your level. But the point is the XP, and its crap. Doing a 70 side quest, as a 76, only nets you around 300k XP. There isn't enough quests to go around for 1 character to level up solely on Side quests at the point. All the points made here, are valid. But people are looking past the ability to pick the quests up, on any class. Look at the bigger picture. The intended mechanic of Automatic change, is not function, simple as that. Not Working As Intended. RIP alt classes.
Holy necro, Batman!
Okay, absurd necro aside, I'll address your point. No, you're right. Everyone else is just blind to the problem. Yeah, its nice not being locked out of PICKING UP quests. It is scaling though. It'll giver higher or lower xp and gil based on your level and any mobs specifically spawned by the quest are appropriate to your level. I know this because I've been doing a few here and there on my SAM the last few days. The level 70 being referred to in the corner of the quest window and before the quest name on the map is only referring to the minimum level needed to do the quest which doesn't change because any job 70 or higher can do it, regardless of what your current level is so that doesn't need to change. The HW and SB beast tribes work the same way, they always show either 50 or 60 but the rewards and spawned enemies scale.
So yes they give 300k at 76 but they give a lower amount at lower levels. It may not be very much (it's specifically half the amount given by an MSQ of your current level) but it seems it's more intended to help level rather than be the sole method. They're not the most time efficient leveling method but they can help break up the monotony while still gaining some xp.
