It's already a huge battle to keep emnity from BLM, SMN and MNK. I dunno why people would wanna make that harder.
It's not as difficult as you're making it out to be if you do it properly and keep up on your gear. Setting aggro early in the pull should give you enough of a lead to safely swap to Deliverance and AoE down the trash pack. All it should take is 1-2 Overpowers, get your stacks up, pop Zerk+IR+Bloodbath, double Decimate and then move into your Overpower spam, nobody should be taking aggro off you at that point. If you're having difficulty with holding aggro on bosses stay in Defiance for an Unchained then swap to Deliverance after it wears off.

It's also not even close to the same damage since Unchained can't be maintained 100% so you're only negating the damage penalty from Defiance for the duration of the buff and then you're back at reduced damage. Deliverance offers you a flat 5% increase to damage as well as opens up both Decimate and Fell Cleave. With a proper rotation, CD usage and dropping stacks on Fell Cleave as soon as you hit 5 (assuming a boss) you shouldn't have any aggro issues and it's a net gain for the whole party as the boss goes down faster.
