No. Just learn to stance dance properly. Grit may be on the GCD but we still have it better than PLD in that turning it off is free, its only turning it on that costs you. PLDs have to waste a GCD either way.

How does this have anything to do with learning "to stance dance properly"? He just wants to be able to drop Grit automatically with Blood Weapon instead of needing to turn off Grit and then hit Blood Weapon. It's a simple QoL request, nothing more.

(also, Grit costs 2x what sword oath and shield oath does for a reason)

    He can, macro. Job done.

Now you can turn off grit as its Off GCD I think but it needs to be ready as a GCD to be turned on again. But turning it off won't don't as a GCD action.

But what you want can easily be macroed.

Have you tried this? It doesn't work at all.

You can't remove Grit unless the GCD has elapsed. Or at least, I haven't been able to, whether by directly using the ability, via a macro or even trying to click off the buff in the buff bar.

Lol yeah tried it last night and yeah GCD needs to be full to turn off and On but if Grit is off and you press it again it should trigger BW regardless of GCD.

And whether or not Grit is a "stance" and Blood Weapon is a "buff", the very nature of them being restricted by each other is reason enough to assume that when someone wants to switch them, they can simply overwrite one with the other if such a system is in place, which it is, but it is currently one-sided. It might not be the most viable solution in the endgame rotation to use Blood Weapon, but all I'm asking for is a slight technicality to be removed in regards to DRK's abilities, because it seems illogical. That doesn't mean I'm a scrub who can't "stance dance properly".
The idea itself isn't bad but hey I gave you what you wanted. In a very easy way.
