you say this because you main glad, and archer, archer is mostly ignoring AA, and glad is the one who gets the most benefit. Glad isnt concerned with dps, or controlling their attacks, so it makes sense that you like the system, your entertainment comes around non tp skill use, you dont need to pay attention to AA or half your tp moves, its better for you if its on autopilot so you can tank. This is not the case for melee, its boring and has no depth. Imagine playing your glad, then taking away all most of your skills, and some one told you not to attack, thats how every melee class plays right now.
Glad also gets to do a lot more actions, because they were stamina heavy, so yeah for glad, its fine, for DD its pretty boring. They need to add something and differentiate the DD by playstyle, and not just by who uses what skills (who cares if i use victimize or chaos thrust or doomspike or whatever if they all basically just do dmg) that basically all play the same. Before the basic attacks kind of defined the classes, but now, they are on such a long timer they are basically just side attacks.
Bad battle system, imo
