-30 Minutes in a dungeon that shouldn't take 30 minutes is definitely intolerable. I've got other things to do, it's bad enough I have to run like 5 experts a week even after clearing savage.
-There are definitely casual players doing Savage. Just ask the clowns that got carried in my static and are continuing to get carried now.
-Why are random people not able to create parties? Is there no Party Finder in this game? No option to shout? Tell? Yell?
I'm about as open of a player as one could be. If I see a new guy in the dungeon who doesn't have a lot of gear and is clear he's still in the process of farming Law, I'm not gonna harass the guy. I'm just going to play that much harder so that the dungeon is that much shorter. I have a life outside of this game.
Lord knows I love this game but I don't want to be spending a million hours doing a trivial task like running my 14th damn Neverreap of the week because I'm a BLM and to SE that means please give me Neverreap every single time. No no no, I want to get out of there as soon as possible.
What about me? Can I use a parser? Can I see my numbers after each run? Why do I have to be bothered to ask my friends after every single clear what I was at? And what about when they aren't parsing? I'm just supposed to be like, "Well, I guess I'll never know how to min max my own rotations and fights." Sure, I'm good, but you're telling me I'm not allowed to make improvements and be the absolute best I can be.
I've never harassed anyone about their numbers. I've pretty much never harassed anyone until they started attacking me. But, you don't want people to have the option to step on your toes about something legitimate with evidence, so instead I have to be the one who's toes are getting stepped on. I tell you what, if anyone ever comes at me and is like, "Fire, your numbers are bad. Git gud." I would be like, ok thanks. I'm not going to go cry about it. Instead I'd be fighting to get the option to see my own numbers and work on it myself so I'm not wasting other peoples time.
And no, a dummy parse isn't going to do that for me. All that's going to tell me is my rotation is bad or good. I can have a great rotation but zero raid awareness and my dummy parse isn't going to mean much. I can hit 1400-1600 on a dummy with buffs but what good is that if I'm some scrub hitting 700 in a1s?
