Are healers lazy or do some really live by "I only heal"?

I think every job has the possibility to aid in other areas if absolutely needed

'absolutely needed?' When will that be? Technically never. If a healer is 'absolutely needed' to dps then clearly DDs are not doing their job. If a static goes into a raid with minimum ilvl gear, then each player needs to execute their main class roles maximally. And that means, for example, each DD knows how to maximise their dps and handle boss mechanics perfectly. Failure to do so in such a way that requires a healer or tank to dps only indicates DDs are not doing their job competently.

It is one thing to say that a healer doing dps will make a boring roulette run go faster, it is quite another thing to say that a healer is 'absolutely needed' to dps. If so, some other role is not doing their main job right and the healer is just compensating for incompetent player(s).
