Are healers lazy or do some really live by "I only heal"?

Why not?

Extra Vitality is not going to make you take less damage per hit, and you are going to have to heal someone with a lot of Vitality more to get them back up to a safe range. The goal of dungeons is to get out of them as fast as possible, so I cannot see why you'd gear Vitality in exchange for a healer DPSing when that's just going to make the tank take more damage overall by virtue of the tank doing less damage.

Given a choice, I would much rather have a tank gear Strength and a healer not DPS than a tank gear Vitality and a healer DPS. Throwing out a Holy/Aero III or triple DoTs + Bane or two casts of Gravity is not going to make a properly played tank drop regardless of what stats he has chosen. A tank with Strength alongside a healer doing damage is optimal for running dungeons.

I don't trust most random tanks to be anything more than a mediocre meat wall that forgot what defensive skills are. I'm right 90% of the time and the whole run is a never ending heal spamfest.

I'm only annoyed by healers who refuse to deal dmg AND complain constantly how bored they are. Like, they get good party members who know how to play and in addition are often overgeared so heals are rarely needed. Instead of helping out, they just stand there, staring at us others and sigh and complain how boring this game is.
That's where I get mad.
It's like going to an amusement park but not getting on any of the rides and then complaining how amusement parks are boring und pointless!

I totally accept it if healers don't want/can't dps for various reasons, if the tank sucks or they don't feel comfortable with stance switching or whatever (even though I internally might think of them as lazy), but if you are judt going to stand there doing nothing, at least have the decency to not complain about it! >_>°
