It is still expected to DPS. That is why for a little bit people were complaining about Bards/MCHs being replaced and now you want a class that is even less then that?No really. Did you even read my post or did you feel like you had a point and felt to throw it in my face? I said the hybrids are there, however, they're not so IN YOUR FACE like we're all used to.
Hybrid - a thing made by combining two different elements; a mixture.
With that said, Bard isn't PURE DPS. It's DPS/Support. What comes out on top because of how the game is? DPS. AST is Healer/Support. What comes out on top because of how the game is? Healing. Right. Hybrids are here. You don't need to be big and bulky to tank, yes, I know that. But let's be realistic....If we introduce evasive tanks, why take the tanks that actually take damage when you can just take evasive ones and call it a day?
"But Lorielle! No one said they would be evading attacks 24/7!"
But isn't the point of being evasive tank? To avoid getting hit in the first place? Alright. I'll bite. So they're taking hits. For the sake of the argument, they're not as bulky as the other three tanks. Awesome. So you're telling me they're as fragile as the rest of the group? Last I checked, I get plowed pretty quickly in raid content as anything but a tank. A tank dying so quickly, not because of mechanics, but due to his own nature of armor is really unreliable. God forbid they're trying to actually do their job and "evasive" isn't working and they're taking a string of hits. At least with Warrior they have their HP to act as Mitigation.
A DPS class that cannot DPS is useless to this game.
