    MNK does lack utility. It should get a utility buff over a damage one.
    But yea, they can't nerf GL3's potency. It'll be a buff unless they offset it somewhere else.
    This utility debate going around, have lost the point of it all...

    DRG is really strong right now, because they have high DPS on their own, they buff BRD/MCH DPS, and they have Litany(increases DPS). All their utility is about DPS, and DPS is very very important.

    I don't know why so many want MNK to get more utility, cause the best thing to have, is high DPS, whether that's from a utility like skill, or just straight up high DPS themselves, doesn't really matter.

    Maybe other players just like to have more support like skills, but I play MNK to beat the sh*t out of enemies

    Yea, I do like skills that go beyond your personal dps.
    Even just dps support, like Litany, Trick Attack or resistance debuffs are fine too.

    The difference between those and personal damage is that it scales by the amount of people affected by it.
    Things like Litany and Trick Attack are weaker in a light party vs in a full party. Resistance debuffs add comp synergy.

    The game is based around team combat.
    It could be dps support or related to survival, but every Job should bring something to the table that works with others in the party.
    And I mean, bringing something beyond what you're expected to do.
    It's not really a good balance to have that with other Jobs and just have one Job that does all that damage themselves all the time.

    MNK's Int debuff was important before. Now it's not because it's not unique.
    You can still be great dps with utility, like DRG is right now.
    MNK dps is fine, but MNKs don't add much to the party otherwise.

    I don't want support just for the sake of it.
    But unique buffs that works better with a group allow for powerful synergy.
    The only way to fully utilize those buffs is through the size and skill of the group.
    They're allowed a power you won't just put into the hands of one Job since that would be imbalanced in every other situation.

    In the end, it doesn't matter once the utility given works with the group - survival or damage.
    What matters is that MNK has something that it brings to a party that everyone else can appreciate.
