My point was you're just as bad and contribute to an enviroment of 'never saying anything again' as the people you bemoan. Instead of trying to help people improve, you're just randomly pulling and making things more annoying for the entire party.

My response to this garbage is /sit and watch you die. You can either knock that crap off and we can continue the run, or you can kick me and wait for some other tank to come in, however long that'll be.

If you want to tank a dungeon, then you can damned well queue as a tank. Otherwise, you stand back and heal/dps and let me do my job, at whatever pace I feel like going that day.

As a tank you should be tougher and a leader.

Eh, in low level dungeons anyone can tank it. I would rather have better tanks at high level.

Chances are that tank will just end up doing his next run with a bad healer unable to keep him alive during a big pull he did because he was previously randomly kicked by someone who prefered that option instead of just saying "you can pull more if you want" like a normal human being with compassion...
... which will lead him to another kick and a bunch of questions in his head all saying "what the hell am I doing wrong? A dude kicked me for not pulling enough, and another one for pulling too much... Errr I'll just switch to carefree DPS because that's how it seems to work".

You know what a good part of being a team player is? It's communication. The same communication you act like is such a lost art, which you completely fail to realise yourself...

As a tank, I have a number of things on my mind.

1) My gear/skills
2) The Healer's gear/skills.
3) The dps composition.

On #3, I'm nto gonna pull groups of 6+ enemies if I have a MNK and a DRG I'm not gonna pull aoe. If I have a SMN and a BLM I'm gonna pull 2+ packs (2 packs is pretty easy in minimum ilevel and takes full advantage of the SMN)

The issue you have, is that you try to take that leadership role but offer nothign constructive in its place. You want tanks to be leaders? Then do what you're *****ing about. Teach them. Show them how. The only thing I hate is when bad people are bad and try to throw blame around. Cahracters not using vital skills, etc etc.

But not pulling large packs because it suits /your/ fancy? Just seems hypocritical.

Telling them fancy words does not suddenly make them a leader. It makes them feel like you are babying them dude and telling them how to play, hand holding.

Actions will be remembered far more then a random dude telling them how to play.

All they'll remember is playing with some guy who would run ahead and pull more than they wanted to. Then the next time it happens they just let the guy die adding more time to the run for no reason. No such thing as a bad student, just a bad teacher, and what you are attempting to teach is bad. I'm being nice too.
