The only reason you bring an AST to any sort of progression raiding is because:

A. You are selfish.
B. Your raid group is terrible, and nobody cares. Might as well bring 6 black mages.

Or you are the selfish one thinking you need x,y,z job or bust. Astro's have already cleared first two tiers of savage so requiring white/scholar only is as bad as accusing people of being selfish or bad.
