Maybe what people mean by AST weaker than the others is AST can't seem to perform miracle whenever a stupid party do stupid stuff resulting in devastating condition (such as in Curator where the floor's all light up). Maybe WHM or SCH may perform a miracle there and survive the predicament. Basically, a healer's considered a real healer if they can fix other ppl's failures and stupidity.
