I'm sorry to point this out, but your remarks annoyingly come out to me that you are jealous that the tank you picked does not have a "solidified spot" in raids based on baseless assumptions of things you read/heard somewhere in the game and/or forums. You come in with one line comments of "WARs too afraid to lose spot as OT" in every topic discussing how DRK or PLD need buffs. Before you start, I'm not even a level 60 WAR.

I'll point out that you don't seem to raid. Neither one of your characters even killed Bismarck Ex. Looking at your classes on both characters, you probably were a DRG main that decided to switch to DRK because it's a cool great sword using class. Grats, you can look like Cloud now.

Nice ad hominem, whatever helps you feel better I suppose. FYI, I've mained PLD and WAR for most of pre-3.0 content. If we're talking about 3.0 endgame, you're just as inexperienced so we're on pretty even ground. (see I can do it too)

Let me tell you this: None of the tanks like to play a tank and be stuck in the OT spot. Tanks like to be the center of attention, not pseudo DPS. The fact that WAR is stuck in the OT spot in those raids sucks much more than the fact that there are 2 tanks that bite at each other for the MT spot.

Really? If that's the case, why aren't we seeing more compositions without WARs? Heck, why even play WARs unless you like the way they are played endgame currently? *HINT* As Offtanks

PLD and DRK statics DO exist, they are out there and they function just as well as any WAR + DRK/PLD setup out there.

Really? They function JUST AS WELL? Do you have numbers to back that up? Because the way it is currently, across ALL servers, on ALL clears of Alex Savage, I'm seeing WARs. Kindly provide pics/links/proof that a DRK/PLD static has cleared Alex Savage in the same gear as the WAR/DRK or WAR/PLD statics on a close time range of about 6 days.

Please, do yourself and us a favor and say something that adds meaningfully to the topic (in here a suggestion of what a 4th tank would be in case you missed it) or don't type anything at all.

Please, do yourself a favor and not let your rage and personal feelings get in the way of deluding yourself to how any feedback or comments that do not agree with your point of view as "nonsense" and asking people to shut up. It just makes your side of the argument look weak.


Back on Topic:

With PLD and DRK already competing with a spot as MT in endgame environments, it is definitely natural to have a tank that is able to fit the OT role in endgame environments that are able to compete with WARs. Unless of course, everyone tank wants to be "the center of attention", and forget that it's a team game, then so be it.
