Was definitely a skill speed issue, only 2.41 gcd. I tested small increments of skill speed using low level food and determined 599 is minimum skill speed for 2.40 gcd.

Looks like nin (which I also play) and mnks want drg to be nerfed and mnk to be highest single target dps again.
Are Drgs truly miles ahead of everyone in single target dp? I have a feeling that people are grossly over exagerating. Unless they are seeing numbers that I just haven't seen yet on parses between equally "skilled" players.

Yes, they are exaggerating. Dragoons are ahead, but not by a considerable amount. If the same player was equally skilled across all three Jobs, it'll definitely go Dragoon > Monk > Ninja on a single target, but with a 10-20 DPS difference between them.
Player skill is a huge factor in this however, which many people still forget. EG, the Monk in my Static blows every Dragoon out of the water and even out DPS's myself. He does have a gear advantage over myself obviously, but one small mess up and he's easily 100 DPS ahead. That's how close the differences are.
See, this is what I try to tell people, I have a mnk in my Static, and we go toe to toe in dps. Though I try and tell people that, they get defensive and say "maybe you're bad" instead of re-evaluating their own play.
Especially when I see how I and others are doing on a consistent basis. People are claiming to be beaten by 100-200 dps just because a person is a drg and not considering that they themselves just might not be on the same level as the player themselves.
Screw ravana though.... hate that fight. Too many breaks.

hello dervy mind dropping by the summoner thread to check some stats we borrowed from here?
I know what you mean by the difference between DRG > MNK > NIN would like 10-20 dps, MNK can sometimes even be above DRG depending on the fight, but a NIN without a warrior doing Storm's Eye for them would be behind by 50-70+ DPS..

Updated with "BiS" Sets for different Accuracy Thresholds.
I haven't been working on the sim cause I'm lazy.
For the most part after some testing the jitter functionality works.
I had to rewrite the whole execute timer to fit jitter in however, as well as how precasting is handled. Its pretty hacked together but it works and is only called once every trial so idc.
Of course you still can't cast any execute abilities lol...oh well. Maybe by end of next week I'll actually decide on how the spell script is going to work.
Sample DRG rotation isn't meant to be ideal, just a baseline rotation you can use that mostly does the right abilities. The sim shouldn't be incorrect numberswise - but sks will look weird until jitter is released.
Hilariously SKS for the default rotation is the best stat (beating out even STR) on my home testing so that will be somewhat interesting to see.
The numbers on the 625-642 set are really off from what is listed. The ACC numbers with food and CRIT are right, but the DET and SS numbers are way off, having 39 more DET and 58 less SS than what is listed.http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3036774
