I do, because I ve recognized a pattern in previous windows-versions:
Windows Me = Crap
Windows XP = Good
Windows Vista = Crap
Windows 7 = Good
Windows 8 (and 8.1) = Crap
Windows 10 = Good (I hope)

8.1 was better in every single aspect, except for GUI, than 7... So yeah... Wouldn't really call it crap.
10 is better than both of those though.
Yea well, the GUI is the thing you actually look at the whole time, so it kinda is very important.
Not to mention that straight up increased the amount of clicks required to do simple actions.
A friend of mine bought a new computer recently, came with 8.1... they complain about the GUI all the time. I wish I could have offered them my install disk for 7, but it's a tailored OEM for my laptop. Wouldn't work.
So far, my PC just took over and everything is like on the Fly. It even eliminated that long boot I had at the beginning. I've been enjoying Win 10 and have no issues atm.
Luckily changing the GUI to "almost win7"-style required one tiny 3rd-party program and about 10 minutes of work.
So yeah, the GUI is a legit complaint, but it doesn't make the system "suck".
Anyways 10 fixes the gui issue, so it's simply better than both 7 and 8.
Always always... ALWAYS
Do a clean install if it's an option. Not just for this game because that shouldn't matter too much. Do it because it increases performance. Do it to phase out old unused programs, spyware, adware or viruses you may not be aware of.
Hell, do it to clean the registry up if nothing else.
Upgrades are for dummies, the computer illiterates.
Yep. Just had to upgrade to get that keycode. Soon preparing to do fresh install. People never should just upgrade no matter what MS says. It leaves a TONs of useless files behind to slow your system.Always always... ALWAYS

Yea and instead of we get this.
We simply no longer have control over our PC.
I may get an SSD to install Windows 10 on and do a fresh install of 14 onto that same SSD. I'll keep my HDD because they're cheaper still and Seagate is a better drive for me versus WD to store the rest of my stuff on.
