
That is no excuse. They are being greedy, plain and simple. When you can buy the NQ version for 45k, why would you sell the gear for 300k+ to not actually sell it.Also take a look at how much gil the crafter needs to gear up (unless they can craft their own and have abundant time to collect their own mats). It's millions of gil from 50-60 and there is little other option such as vendor gear / quest reward gear. On top of that the crafter needs to spend gil on mats for leve/provisioning hand ins, which return 0 profit, to actually level up. At least as battle class you can avoid the marketboard and just buy from vendor or get drops from dungeons. They need every gil they can get their hands on.
