Remember that time when BLMs were OP as hell in Slaughter so they nerfed them to make PvP great and balanced?

That's indeed how it works with a SMN. It's a burst machine every minute or so. But if you can interupt his flow or get him after he unloaded a bunch on an unfortunate teammate, he'll die if not heavily supported. And even if he's healed, he'll be useless with no stacks.
Also, if anything, MNK are a great counter against SMN (probably the best counter tbh).
Shoulder Tackle his face right after you get hit by Tri-disaster, use the stun time to cleanse all your debuffs if available, stun him again with Steel Peak, and then One Ilm Punch him (may need a few uses) to make him completly useless (loss of Aetherflow or Bahamut stacks = dead SMN), then proceed to finish him. Weapon Throw if he tries to sprint away. Use Somersault or Perfect Balance for instant One Ilm Punch fun.
Want a faster kill on a SMN with some battle buffs? Shoulder Tackle > Limit Break. Problem solved.
I'm a SMN myself, and I can easily say that MNKs are one of my primary target just for that reason. I usually have to kill them ASAP or else I'm dead.
Taking on a healer isn't a one man job anyways so scaling dps for one class based on how much a healer can heal will just break that class when it fights anything else.Every dps job get their new burst abilities 50 - 60. We also need more burst now because healers have more burst healing too. Whm have their own "lustrate" with 1min cd and astro one with 40sec cd that almost heal full hp if you are low hp. Tri disaster have also one weakness it does not do healing reduce effect like normal miasma effect. It is harder heal manually casted dots than tri disaster ones.

While true, ideally, a designer would want to keep the damage and healing of DPS and Healers comparatively similar, otherwise one or the other role becomes overpowered compared to the other.
Wouldn't be fair to nerf SMN now, with me having stocked up on all that Realm Reborn Red. Had a free moment tonight to share a bottle with some lalafell warrior after I survived his fell cleave and deathflared him.

All jobs should be balanced around 4v4 wolves den. If you start balancing 1v1 everybody, it will be endless circle and somebody will be always op and somebody underpowered. 4v4 will have rated rankings in 3.1 so it is only place where balance actually matters. If healers can easily keep everybody up, fight will last 4ever and it is not fun either.

I wouldnt have problem of summoners burst if they droped equaly fast, 3 skill arrows and they are dead. There clearly is problem if they can pretty much oneshot from such a great range. They are unpenalized snipers of this game. While PVP is last saving grace of enjoyment in this game it still shows that PVP here is slapped there to just be. Rng should absolutly have no place in PVP. RNG in pvp shows that devs have zero exp what pvp realy means, their choice of rng in seize is inexcusable. Most fun for me in seize is droping a summoner, i let out chear every time i kill someone.
That's silly.
SMN have to use all their cooldowns and burn all of their stacks to kill one dude. Besides, it doesn't work on Tanks and on good Healers.
After that, they're just deadweights waiting to be killed, using some Ruin II and sprinting away because they can't do anything else.
So, yeah, I don't think killing a person per minute and being somewhat just annoying the rest of the time causes a balance issue to the point where they should die in 3 Heavy shots.
