My core skills are CS2, HT, SH2, CZ, RS, ToT, BB, MaM, FS, and Reclaim. That's my list for LTW so all the other crafts usually pack extra goodies like Innovation or Manipulation. Depending on how much progress I get out of MaM, I use 4-5 RS (assuming none fail) and finish with 1-2 CS2 (again, depending on how the initial progress looks). On average, 7 progress steps in exchange for much more flexibility. Whether or not the RNG is worth it is a can of worms I don't want to open so I'll leave it to you to decide. 6 non-RNG progress steps is certainly better but what do you do if you don't get enough ToT procs?
