

Not really. What I posted is only an observation of one aspect of the overall balance situation involving SMN: DMG:TIME potential in burst.
Most classes have that kind of burst potential. But most of them could not do it so easily from a range without any realistic counter aside from simply not being targeted from them to begin with, and with a huge AoE nuke as part of their single target burst.
I'm not saying that SMN is overpowered, but neither am I saying it's perfectly balanced. They're just not so badly overpowered as some people are making them out to be.
