They just don't make MMOs like they used to. FFXIV endgame = 2 primals and a raid. :/ I get more excitement out of trying to get 3 10k MGP with my scratchers.

Nevermind the fact SE still hasn't learned how to give us ways to level alt classes once we're reached max level and have no more MSQs or side quests to do.
Even if I were to find enjoyment in grinding each class to 60 (1 at 60 ilvl178 and 2 more nearly there, 56 and 58) there's just nothing to do when I finally get there.
I get it, the theme park formula works. But when you release an expansion that feels like a content patch with a price tag people are gonna be a little salty when they run out of content in a week CASUALLY.
I agree whole heartedly. Nothing has changed from 2.0 to 3.0. It's the same tired ass formula. Expansions are times to get innovative.Nevermind the fact SE still hasn't learned how to give us ways to level alt classes once we're reached max level and have no more MSQs or side quests to do.

Right? I mean they added the MSQ line, alright fine. It was actually a decent romp.
3 jobs that are overall lacking compared to the existing classes, MCH isn't much better than BRD, DRK is the weakest overall tank, ASTs BY DESIGN heal for less than SCH and WHM.
More stuff for crafting, but tell us how none of the end game craftables were going to compare to the Law gear, something that's EASILY obtained! Why bother crafting then? For airship parts? For nobody but the person running the FC to use? WHY!? And even then from what I've been told it's not even worth it.
Otherwise what did this expansion really add that we had to pay to experience? We're still waiting for all the rest of the content!

You really have no idea what you speak of.
Daily roulettes, levequests, fates, duty finder, challenge log and whatever else I forget - oh daily hunts too
Tons of ways to get EXP for your alt jobs.
You just don't want to do any of the work.
Also dunno about you but if you completely set aside a huge chunk of content because you're not interested in it, its your own damn fault.
Have you unlocked all crafting master books? All Gathering Folklore books? No? Oh there's something to do.

How nice of you to assume that, let's look at this by the numbers shall we?
Any of the roulettes played once daily give an average of 16k xp, another 16k if you're playing something that's needed (On my server that's usually tanks). Basically shit xp for the entire run and a pittance of xp at the end.
How much do FATEs give in NT after 50? 14k, much less time invested.
How much do bosses give in HW dungeons? 40-100k depending on which one.
Hunts not much better than FATEs, which are only done once daily.
Also, new classes don't have challenge logs. Old ones don't progress past 50.
*facepalm* YOU PEOPLE DO NOT READ! WE'RE TALKING ABOUT ---ENDGAME---, NOT the stupid filler crap. Yes we CAN level alts and craft and gather, but that's not ENDGAME!You really have no idea what you speak of.

Also that^
I only added to his original statement that further irritation of the lack of endgame also stems from lack of viable methods for leveling other jobs to prolong my enjoyment of the game while I wait for content, because there is none.

I did read, stop being condescending.
I was replying to this very thing he complained about: Leveling alt jobs.
End game is not only Raiding, thats only if you are narrow-minded.
There is plenty to do at level 60 - again, if you choose to ignore it thats your own fault.

There's actually quite a lot to do in the game, but to many people can't see past their nose and think ENDGAME! = raiding.
