An explanation from players isn't going to help you any more than a video if said video is well made.

I don't personally like to go into a duty blind, though some people seem to enjoy it. That's fine.

If you want to go in blind and learn from trial and error, that's one thing. But not wanting to do that and asking people how fights work is truly pointless. If you want to know how a fight works, watch a video. Don't make people waste their time explaining when you could have watched a video. If you want to go in blind, well, just go in blind without asking about mechanics.

The OP obviously wasn't there for a blind run, so why ask people what to do when he could have watched a video beforehand without making them waste their time?

Yes, this is exactly what I was getting at. If you want to go in blind, go in blind, but if you want a rundown of the mechanics first, don't expect the other players to take their time to give it to you.
