As far as them changing Alex normal loot, I don't think I've seen anything to that effect. Could you please provide a link?

It's a good idea to bookmark the "Forum Top" page and come in through that page each time, because the Community Rep responses are always listed to the right. Unless you're on mobile, then obviously it's different.

Or even better, check the Dev Tracker every now and then.
