    I'm curious what exactly it is that people want? We had Coil loot distribution; where you get a chance for loot 4 times per week and people bitched about the lockout. Now, we have Alex loot distro; where you can farm it all you want and get a piece of gear pretty much guaranteed (unless you're tunnel visioning on a certain slot and stuck DFing it) and people still complain? Do people want a loot system where you go in, get the drop you want with no lockout at all so you can farm it for a week just so you can complain that there's nothing to do? Welcome to MMOs. The hardest bosses are always other players and RNG.

    Sometimes, I get the feeling that this new breed of MMO players expect game companies to crank out content every week just to keep their ADHD-addled playerbase sated. I bet even then, people will still complain that they didn't wake up the next day to 28 brand new raids that drop every piece of gear for every job and expect the same thing happening the next day.

    People want the ability to get at least one item of loot per week. Not have to run the same content over and over 50 times for a slight chance at getting what you want. The token systems for clearing X runs usually solves this. Problem is, once people have obtained all they want from it, they stop. That being said, if you can only get ONE item/week, that's still what, 10 weeks to gear out one job? Have you seen the requirements for the body piece from Alex? It's 4 items that drop from A4 that DFers have a hell of a time with. So unless you run it non-stop with a static until everyone gets said item, it'll take a month min to upgrade it.

    From SEs point of view, it's genius cause it'll take forever to get it (to which point something easier and better will have come along).

    And this is exactly what SE wanted when making this system. Something to artificially extend the lifespan of the content until something new is out.

    And this is what we got, unless you mean people want a guaranteed drop for everyone every run. And that shortens the lifespan of the current content. And I highly doubt people would want "X amount of runs for item Y" because that's exactly what the tome system is. And people hate grinding tomes.

    We want Coils Loot System with a Token System added to it. Whole Gear drops and you can either lot it or pass, if you don't get a gear drop, when you go to "Exit" you can choose to take a token, if you take gear or a token you're locked out from that floor until reset. If you don't take gear or a token, then you can keep redoing that floor until you get what you want. Pretty simple, and that is the system we should have had.
    Wait...this is the current Alex system without the gear drop and lockout. I thought it was established people don't like lockouts? Savage will introduce the gear drop along with the lockout and tokens. You want that in Alex Story Mode as well? I don't know why everyone considers Story Mode "endgame" when it's clearly for casuals who whined that Coil was too hard to finish.

    No matter what they do, SE can't win. The game is easy mode for now and some people complain it's too easy AND some say it's too hard. The game gives you loot on a silver platter and some say they can't be bothered to work at it until they get the gear while others say it's too easy to gear up and the content sucks. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

    Go back to the first few pages and you'll see.

    TL;DR

    We want Coils Loot System with a Token System added to it.
